I’m Charlie Hodgson, a 37-year-old professional signed musician and tutor based in Kings Langley. I’ve been teaching guitar for over 20 years, and playing for 30+ — from gigs and bands across London, weddings and luxury venues to huge concert stages, and now from my quiet home studio or over Zoom. Whilst teaching, I regularly perform nationwide and am often experimenting with new material at home and so I bring that passion and energy to our lessons.
Whether you’re just starting out, picking up where you left off, or want to develop a more advanced style — I teach in a way that’s relaxed, friendly, and fully tailored to your goals. I work with complete beginners, kids aged 4+, teens, adults, retired learners, and advanced players prepping for exams or performances.
I am also fully experienced with teaching neurodivergent people, including ADHD and autism, with many of my neurodiverse pupils praising my patience and ability to embrace their unique differences.
